Commercial Services
Mornington Shire Council owns and operates several vital commercial services including a bakery, mechanical workshop, fuel bowser, hotel and visitors’ quarters, and a kiosk.
Mechanical Workshop & Fuel Bowser
Mornington Shire Council operates a Mechanical Workshop in Gununa delivering vehicle repairs & maintenance services for community members, and fleet vehicles for community-based organisations.
The Mechanical Workshop also deals with spare parts as required.
The fuel bowser for the community is also located here and is staffed and operational during the below listed hours only. EFTPOS is the preferred payment method.
Pre-paid cards are available for purchase from the Service Station Office during operating hours. For Corporate Cards (businesses only), contact finance@mornington.qld.gov.au for more information.

Bakery
The Council operated bakery operates five days a week providing fresh bakery products to the Gununamanda Store. The bakery is not open to the public.
The bakery also provides a limited catering service with wholesale bakery items available to business customers. Current bakery order forms/ pricelist are available on request.

Warehouse & Barge Logistics
Various hardware and homeware items are available for sale to the public through the Council Warehouse, with special orders considered on request.
Warehouse staff also co-ordinate the unloading of the barge each week and assistance with back-freight of items to Karumba.
