Following Tali Tabuai’s resignation, Council resolved during the April Ordinary Council meeting to hold a by-election to elect a new councillor on Mornington Shire Council.

Nominations can be lodged at the Council Chamber, 1 Mission Road Gununa or through the Electoral Commission of Queensland website. The Returning Officer can ask any questions you have about nominations.

If you live in Mornington, update your details on the electoral roll before 5pm on 23 May so you’ll be able to vote.
